Aug 01,  · The highlight is "Time alone will Tell, which Al Alberts (lead singer) used to play on his Sunday afternoon KLAC radio shows, and always gets neglected from being included in the 4 Aces comps. Putting aside the nasty mean-spirited attitude of the record label, the compilation has some merit/5(26).

The Four Aces: Greatest Hits. Close harmony groups, such as the Four Freshmen and Four Aces, were quite viable commercially, before the advent of rock and roll made so many of them redundant. Such was the case with the Four Aces, who had over thirty top forty hits before

This double disc set features the hits and million sellers '(It's No) Sin', 'Tell Me Why', 'Three Coins in the Fountain', 'Love Is a Many Splendored Thing' and more/5(25).

Greatest Hits contains all the group's best songs in this track collection. Included are the essential hits "Mr. Sandman," "(It's No) Sin," "Tell Me Why," "Three Coins in a Fountain," and "Love Is a Many Splendored Thing." The Four Aces are due for some revisiting. Pop culture has returned to their musical fountain over the years, from Back.

While there are 49 songs on two CDs, there could have been more hit singles. The biggest hits are there, and they are on the first CD. The second CD contains some popular tunes, but not hits by the Four Aces. I would have put a bunch more hit singles on the second CD, example, "Heart" which reached No. 13 on the Billboard charts.
