Elsewhere "More" is another superb track and Franks cover of "Hello Dolly" isn't nearly as bad as you might think. Basie's band sounds superb in this song with a rousing middle and end section - Superb! Jack Jones "Wives and Lovers" also gets a very strong reworking by Frank and this ends the album /5(90).

This album brings together the two studio albums Sinatra made with Basie: "An Historic Musical First" (arranged and conducted by Neal Hefti) and "It Might As Well Be Swing" (arranged and conducted by Quincy Jones), recorded a couple of years apart in the early s, when both Sinatra and Basie were at their absolute artistic peak.
